My Prayer for You...August 24, 2014

My prayer for you and me this week...

...cling to the certainty...

GOD does not change!

God said to Moses, “I am who I am.

Exodus 3:14

God is not human, that he should lie,
    not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
    Does he promise and not fulfill?

Numbers 23:19

 “I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed."

Malachi 3:6

Everything, God, everything in my life changes...only You do not change. Only You are trustworthy and true.  

Everything else in my life comes and goes...thrives and wanes...just as the flowers and grass in every season. 

However, You, my Creator, the Lover of my soul, are
faithful...forever and always...through all eternity.  I bless Your Great Name.

Oh yes, I bless Your Holy, Majestic, Never Changing Name.

Amen!

"All people are like grass, 

and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;

the grass withers and the flowers fall,    but the word of the Lord endures forever.”
