My Prayer For You...September 14, 2014

My prayer for you and me this week...

Listen to the Holy Spirit for guidance and direction.  Listen more and talk less in prayer.  And when the Holy Spirit stirs you to go to a place you wouldn't normally go, or speak to someone you wouldn't normally speak to or do something you wouldn't normally do, which is in complete unity with His Word....OBEY!

LORD, Jesus, Father, Holy Spirit, cause us to be still.  Do in us (who are willing to pray this prayer) what only You can do in order for Your Will to be accomplished and for us to receive the greatest blessing of obedience...the JOY of YOU, our LORD!  Quiet us, who are Your children, that we might hear You.  Speak to us in the night through dreams because it might be the only time of our day You find us still and quiet.  For those of Your children who can't sleep in the middle of the night, reveal this time as an anointed opportunity to hear from you in the still and quiet without distractions.

Speak LORD, Your servants are listening.  We want to hear You.  We want to obey.  We want to experience Your Presence and Your Glory.  We want YOU, LORD GOD!  May our greatest desire be for You...just YOU!

I felt the Holy Spirit called me to go to the Lilburn International Festival today.

It wasn't something I would normally do.  I ended up talking to people I normally wouldn't talk to; a group of Chinese Christians were teaching people how to write LORD in Chinese.  They were so encouraging, "Please come try!", as they escorted me to a chair and handed me a brush.  When I got it right (the 2nd try), they all cheered for me!

What is so awesome about this Chinese symbol for LORD; the top symbol means GOD, the bottom symbol means KING, and all together it means LORD!

"Be still and know that I am God. 

I will be exalted among the nations, 

I will be exalted in the earth!"
