Day 10 - Adventure *Journeying with Jesus*Sing Joyfully*

My prayer for you and me this week… from Psalm 33

LORD, we sing joyfully to You, all Your righteous children, who are co-heirs with Christ, the One and Only Begotten Son who paid the way for our adoption by His precious blood.
It is fitting for us to praise You LORD, God, our Father.  We will praise You with music, and sing to You a new song; we will shout for JOY.

Your word, O LORD, is right and true and You are faithful in all You do.  LORD, we praise You for Your love of righteousness and justice; the earth is full of Your unfailing love.
By Your Word, the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of Your mouth.  Let all the earth fear You LORD; let all the people of the world revere You.

We know the day is coming when every knee will bend to Your Majesty and every tongue confess, Jesus Christ is LORD.  May the harvest of souls be plentiful before the awesome and fearful day of Your return, Lord Jesus.

LORD, God, You foil the plans of nations and thwart the purposes of peoples.  Your plans, O LORD, stand firm forever; the purposes of Your heart through all generations.  Blessed is the nation who declares the Living God is their LORD, blessed are the people You have chosen for Your inheritance.

From Heaven, Father, You look down and see all of mankind, Your creation.  From Your dwelling place You watch over all who live on Earth.  Father, You are the One who forms our hearts, and You are our Father who takes into consideration everything we do.  You care, Father, about the details of our momentary lives in light of eternity.

Because You are Sovereign God, and our King Eternal, You declare no earthly king will be saved by the size of his army; no warrior will escape by his great strength.  A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite its great strength it cannot save.

LORD, we are refreshed and encouraged to know Your eyes are on us who fear, respect and honor You as Father and King, as Savior and Redeemer; Your eyes are on us whose hope is in Your unfailing love.

LORD, Jesus, because You took the death penalty meant for each of us, You deliver us from death.  Because the Father resurrected You to life, death has been defeated once and for all.  Thank You for Your precious gift of eternal life.

We wait in hope for You LORD; You are our help and our shield.  In You our hearts rejoice, for we trust in Your holy name.  May Your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in You.

In Jesus’ name,
AMEN.
